​Introduction to a Peer Support Volunteer’s role in supporting new parents on PANDA’s National Helpline

This one hour session will introduce the role of PANDA’s Peer Support Volunteers: PANDA’s Peer Support Volunteers ‘work with a team of telephone counsellors on PANDA’s National Helpline to support new parents experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of perinatal anxiety and depression. Our Peer Support Volunteer will give an example of a grounding technique she uses over the phone when callers are feeling distressed or anxious.

Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Education : Changes Activity Online

A free one and a half hour event for group leaders wanting to run PANDA’s Changes Activity in a group-based support and education for expecting and new parents. Opportunity to discuss how this activity can be used in your online or phone based group.

    Is Your Playgroup PANDA Aware?

    This free one hour online event aims to increase awareness of perinatal anxiety and depression in your playgroup. Community and supported playgroup leaders can learn how to support parents and carers to access PANDAs National Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Helpline

    When?

    • Tuesday 13th of August | 12:30pm - 1:30pm
    • Wednesday 14th of October | 11:30am - 12:30pm (VIC only)
