PANDA was founded by a small group of volunteers. Now many years on, PANDA relies on professional staff and skilled volunteers working together to raise awareness and deliver a range of services.

Become a PANDA Community Champion

If you have been through a personal experience of perinatal mental health challenges, or supported someone who has, you can apply to be a Community Champion.

Peer support volunteers

Become a peer support volunteer

Volunteers in the Peer Support Program provide phone and web-based peer support, information and referrals to new and expecting parents who are experiencing mental health challenges, emotional distress or challenges adjusting to the transition to parenthood.

Community education volunteers

Become a community education volunteer

Help educate the community on perinatal anxiety and depression by sharing your experience and public speaking. This position is limited to Victorian residents.

Clinical Champion volunteers

Volunteering opportunity for health care providers: PANDA Clinical Champions

PANDA Clinical Champions are a network of clinicians and experts working in the perinatal space who volunteer to support PANDA.

Administration volunteers

Administration Volunteers are passionate about PANDA’s work and support administrative functions across the helpline, marketing, and data management.
