David BoonDavid Boon

Legendary Australian cricketer David Boon supports PANDA and its work. David Boon is considered to be one of Australia's best ever cricketers. 'Boonie' joined the Australian cricket team in 1983 and during his career he played 107 test matches, scored 7422 runs, 20 centuries and 180 one day internationals. He is now an Australian selector after retiring from international cricket in 1996.

Don BurkeDon Burke

Top media personality and creator of Burke's Backyard and other hit TV shows Don Burke supports PANDA. In 1990, Don formed CTC Productions to produce not only Burke's Backyard, but also Backyard Blitz (winner of another six Logies) and Renovation Rescue. He is also the author of 11 books and won the Banksia Award for Media Contribution to the Environment in 1996.

Michael DoohanMichael Doohan

Mick Doohan is a 5 times world 500cc motorcycle champion. He is also a supporter of PANDA. During his astonishing career he won the Order of Australia in 1996 and holds the world record (set in 1997) for the most 500cc Grand Prix wins in a season… 12 wins. He holds many other records and is one of Australia's biggest sports stars.

Michael MalthouseMick Malthouse

Mick Malthouse – one of the AFL's biggest names and coach of Collingwood – is behind the PANDA cause. From 1990 to 1999 Michael was senior coach for the West Coast Eagles, based in Perth. Through his motivational skills and coaching techniques he made a new club a feared power within the Australian Football League. Under “Mick Malthouse” the Eagles made the finals every year, including 1992 & 1994 Premierships and 1991 Runners-Up. Mick won a premiership in 1980 as a player.

Melinda SchneiderMelinda Schneider

Award winning music star Melinda Schneider - who has released a number of hit albums and performed throughout Australia - says the PANDA cause is a very important one. One of Australia's most popular female country artists, Melinda's career began at the tender age of three and the singer-songwriter has won numerous awards including 5 CMAA Golden Guitars and more. Artists as diverse as John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and Jimmy Little are just some who have performed Melinda's songs.

Tammy van WisseTammy van Wisse

Champion marathon swimmer Tammy van Wisse supports PANDA. Tammy holds many records for marathon swims around the world. Amongst Tammy's remarkable achievements are a record breaking swim across Loch Ness in Scotland and an astonishing swim that took Tammy down the entire length of the Murray River to raise awareness of the need to protect the environment.

Tracey WickhamTracey Wickham

Tracey Wickham has held many incredible swimming records over the years. She is a swimming legend and she says it's vital people get help if they have postnatal depression. Tracey won 2 gold medals at the 1978 world titles and four gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in both 1978 and 1982. At 13 years of age she was Australia's youngest representative at the Montreal Olympics. Her Australian national 400m freestyle record was held for 29 years.

Ami WilliamsonAmi Williamson

Ami Williamson performs across Australia and this talented musician (daughter of John Williamson) is a proud supporter of PANDA. She recently toured overseas with Angry Anderson and others to support the work of the Australian troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Solomon Islands. She graduated from the Sydney Conservatory of Music and the Ensemble Acting Studios and now focuses on songwriting,performing her one-woman show as well as touring for music events.
