World’s Biggest Breakfast in Bed Sets Record and Raises Funds for PANDA

PANDA CEO Belinda Horton joined actress Ada Nicodemou and 289 others to successfully set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s biggest breakfast in bed.

The event was held on Friday 2nd March in Sydney by Priceline and Women’s Health Magazine, and also helped raise hundreds of dollars for PANDA.

The world record attempt aimed to serve breakfast to 250 people and hundreds of beds were set up in Martin Place, where celebrity chef ‘Fast’ Ed Halmagyi dished up a healthy breakfast in bed for participants.

The event was staged to coincide with Priceline’s ‘I Feel Beautiful’ survey which found that 51per cent of women would like to get more sleep.

Belinda Horton PANDA CEO said; “The event provided a wonderful opportunity to fundraise for PANDA and to raise awareness of our services. We’re extremely grateful to The Priceline Sisterhood for their ongoing support and to everyone who donated on the day.”

The Priceline Sisterhood initiatives have raised over $26,000 for PANDA in the first half of 2012.
